Symetrical setbacks along 58th Street.
A three-story arcade (patrolled by zealous security!) circles the office tower base.
At street level the color scheme has warmed to blue-green puntuated by gray and near-black polished granite.

The building's crown is of colorful terra cotta.
It's getting crowded: Construction cranes on One World Trade Center intrude. By 2014, an 80-story hotel/residential tower is slated to open directly behind the Woolworth Building.
