The northeast facade is the only side not clad in terra cotta.

A plain modern door replaces the original, and is out of character.
The building's base is rusticated (joints emphasized) granite; the brickwork above is patterned to mimic the rustication.

The light court lacks some of the color and detailing of the more visible facades.
